Where edge protection / guard railing is required we offer a variety of standard stanchion posts to meet the requirements of AS/NZS 1657. A custom service is also available for non standard stanchions. Our ball stanchion systems can be used in a wide variety of applications. These include bridges, industrial plants, schools, stairways, safety barriers, power stations, and commercial and industrial developments.

We are able to offer our clients stanchion posts, closure bends and rail bends for simple and easy onsite installation. We are also able to offer complete fabricated guardrail panels to suit your requirements.

Standard ball stanchions:

Closure Bends:
Horizontal and angle closure bends are used at the start or end of a handrail, we can supply our standard closure bends, or make custom closure bends to suit your requirements.

Rail Bends:

Rail bends are used to go around corners or when there is a change in level or direction of the handrail. We can supply rail bends to any angle to suit your requirements.

* Standard rail bends are 300x300mm centre to centre.  Custom rail bends can be manufactured on request. L1 + L2 must total 6500mm or less.

Base Plates:
Standard base plates for our ball stanchions are manufactured from 75x10mm flat bar. We offer 3 standard types of base plate depending on the stanchion type that is used. Kick Plate Mounting Brackets:

Custom ball stanchions:

Along with our standard stanchions we can also manufacture one ball or multi ball stanchions to suit your requirements. The height, ball centres, ball drilling size and type of stanchion will need to be specified.
